Donos Engineering in Partnership with Techinova AB, Sweden; Designs, Manufacture, Supply and Provide after Sales Services for Monitoring and Automation System for the Oil & Gas Distribution system, key component for Smart Grid Technology in Electricity Distribution and Water & Wastewater Distribution.

This solution enables communications where it is costly to use fibre Optics and GPS signal (the Nigerian terrain is an example). Our systems communicate over long distance on UHF & VHF band, SCADA system integration, supports SCADA system protocols, IEC 60870-5-101, DNP3 and RNMS (Radio Network MicroSCADA).

The product is a combination of Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Radio Technology and Software Technology. Our systems work with existing SCADA systems for effective and rapid detection of losses, leakages and faults in pipeline systems – Oil & Gas, Electricity distribution systems, Water etc.

Such detection can then be linked to automate shut-off systems and controls to minimize downtimes, losses and lead to quick response by maintenance teams.
